1st FOLLOW UP WORKSHOP
BY JÁZMIN BAKOS, ZSANETT FUTÓ, ORSOLYA GULYA
On February 8th, we hosted a workshop to showcase our learnings and experiences from the training course we recently completed in Poland. The workshop took place at the premises of Pesti Fiatalokért Egyesület in Budapest, and we extend our gratitude to them for providing us with the space to share our insights about the project. Our audience comprised youth workers and university students from Eötvös Loránd University, specializing in community development.
To begin, we provided an overview of the Erasmus+ project and discussed the various opportunities it offers. It was evident that some participants were hearing about these opportunities for the first time, so we took the time to clarify any misconceptions and answer questions. Following this, we presented a detailed report of our week in Bolko, highlighting one specific method from each day and illustrating our journey through photographs.
The final segment of the workshop focused on the Youthpass system and its functionality. We shared personal anecdotes and opinions related to our experiences.

The participants and I shared moments when getting out of our comfort zone was a bit scary and stressful at first, but it ended up with a favourable outcome. Furthermore, we spoke about mindset and how it is connected to everything in life and is essential for growth and self-development. We watched a short TED talk that was very interesting. At the end, we also had a 5-10 minute Q&A.

"Stepping beyond familiar boundaries in 2024! Kicked off the year with an incredible Erasmus+ venture in Poland. From January 3rd to 8th, I joined 36 participants from 9 countries, delving into topics like leadership, mindset, and self-discovery. Tasks challenged our creativity, emphasizing the importance of communication and trust. Grateful to Acpelia and Eurotender Association for pushing me out of my comfort zone. Unforgettable experiences and memories gained – here's to growth! #ErasmusAdventure #ComfortZoneExplored" This training program is rooted in the belief that progress unfolds when we venture beyond our comfort zones. Throughout the project, we delved into diverse methods like out-of-the-box thinking, coaching, time-management, and self-development. Engaging in discussions on topics like discrimination, success, luck, and the impact of circumstances, we explored themes such as Growth mindset vs. Fixed mindset, leadership skills/mindset, fears, confidence, trust, and self-awareness. These experiences fostered both professional and personal growth, pushing our boundaries and creating a supportive community where we inspired and learned from one another. Gratitude to the participants for the enriching week, and a special thanks to the organizing entities Acpelia and Eurotender Association Association and Stowarzyszenie Open Soul.
JÁZMIN BAKOS,
My 2024 started with an amazing Erasmus+ project in Poland. Between 3 and 8 of January I had the opportunity to attend with 36 participants from 9 countries in this project and learn more about my comfort zone and about myself. We talked about leadership, growth vs. fixed mindset, about who are we. We also improved our creative side by some tasks and learnt about how important is the good communication and to trust eachother. It was an unforgettable experience for me, throughout the project, I managed to acquire numerous new skills, and I definitely got out of my comfort zone. I returned home with fantastic experiences and memories again. The training course is structured around the psychological notion that progress thrives outside our comfort zones. It offers diverse avenues for achieving this, encompassing various strategies such as thinking outside the box, coaching, time management, self-development, and engaging in debates on topics like discrimination, success, luck, and the influence of circumstances. Our exploration also delved into themes such as Growth Mindset versus Fixed Mindset, leadership skills/mindset, addressing fears, fostering confidence, building trust, and enhancing self-awareness. These components collectively facilitated both our professional and personal growth, enabling us to expand our horizons, while fostering a supportive community environment that encouraged mutual inspiration and learning among participants. I'm grateful for the wonderful people I had the opportunity to meet during this project; it was truly an incredible experience. I've forged beautiful friendships that I deeply cherish. Thank you again for all the organisations too!

From the 2nd to the 9th of January, I had the opportunity to attend a project in Boleslawow, Poland, with 36 participants from 9 countries. It was my first time participating in an Erasmus+ project. Thanks to the organizers, we spent our time in a very good accommodation, although it would have been nice to have a shop nearby. During the project, we were able to learn a lot of new techniques, and through different non-formal learning methods, we have improved both personally and professionally. It was a fantastic experience; I met a lot of amazing people, learned new skills, and definitely stepped out of my comfort zone. The aim of the project was to show how much you can achieve by stepping out of your comfort zone. During the project, we learned how to think outside the box, coaching skills, and time management. We talked about many interesting topics, like fixed and growth mindsets, leadership, and who we are. We learned about how important good communication is, to trust each other, and we also did some interesting tasks such as active listening and debating about important topics like discrimination and success. The whole week was so useful, and I learned so much about myself, but I also learned a lot from the other participants.
A big thank you to all three organizations for creating this safe environment for us. It was also a big plus that we were informed about everything before the project, and the constant information in the Facebook, WhatsApp, and Messenger groups was also a lot of help, because there was always somebody we could turn to if we had a problem. This whole Erasmus+ Plus project was a life-changing experience and the new skills and lessons we learned changed our perspective on a lot of things.
ORSOLYA GULYA
From 2 to 9 January I took part in the Erasmus+ training course "Get out of your comfort zone" in Boleslaow, Klodzko, Poland, which was a wonderful start to my year. The project involved 36 participants from 9 countries, whose cultures we got to know through intercultural nights. The project helped me to develop both personally and professionally through different non-formal learning methods such as role-playing, creative exercises, teamwork, self-development exercises. The workshops brought the participants closer together and I met amazing people, which made my week in Poland even better. The training course is based on a psychological idea that progress can be achieved by stepping out of our comfort zone. There are many ways to do this, and during the project we learnt different methods, such as out of the box thinking, coaching, time-management, self development and debating about subjects like discrimination, success, luck, impact of circumstances. We learnt about topics such as Growth mindset vs. Fixed mindset, leadership skills/mindset, fears, confidence, trust and self-awareness. These allowed us to grow professionally and personally, to push our boundaries and to inspire and learn from other participants by experiencing how we do this as a community. In many ways, the project took me out of my comfort zone and made me grow, for which I am very grateful to Acpelia , Stowarzyszenie Open Soul and Eurotender Association for the opportunity and special thank to Zsanett Függ.
