Evaluation from Participants in the project
Kaja Atanasov
The Get Out of Your Comfort Zone project was very useful for my personal growth. Meeting new people from different parts of the world, learning from them and therefore growing as a person has always been something I have been interested in. This is also why I applied for this project. Through different activities we got to know each other and learn from one another.
I really liked how this project pushed us out of our comfort zones with simple things such as preparing and facilitating international evenings, dancing, expressing our thoughts and opinions.
The activity I liked the most wat the one where we got to know the fixed and the growing mindset. I like discussing about things and being encouraged to think out of the box and think critically is what made this activity so fulfilling. I have learned new things about myself such as that I have a growing mindset.
All in all the project was fun, full of challenges and new friends and I hope I get to repeat something similar in the near future.

As a participant in the Get Out of your Comfort Zone project, I reflect on the transformative experience I had during the programme, which aimed to promote personal growth and self-improvement. The following evaluation summarises my insights into various aspects of the project:
Organisation of the overall project: The organisation of the project was commendable, providing clear information from the outset. Internal agreements were well defined and contributed to a structured and efficient workflow. The inclusion of different elements such as workshops, pre-activities and effective dissemination strategies showed a comprehensive approach to project management. The website and Facebook page were instrumental in keeping us informed and engaged throughout.
Implementation of the PDA:
The Professional Development Activity (PDA) exceeded expectations and provided an
immersive experience that really pushed us out of our comfort zones. The workshops on
leadership, active listening, growth mindset, overcoming fears and entrepreneurship were
thoughtfully curated and fostered an environment of continuous learning and skill
development. Reports and evaluations from participants confirmed the success of the PDA.
Added value of the project and the PDA:
The added value of the project lies in its holistic approach to personal development. The
PDA instilled a deep sense of resilience, adaptability and a growth mindset. The integration
of different themes allowed us to explore multiple aspects of self-improvement, contributing
to a well-rounded learning experience.
Areas for improvement:
To improve future iterations of the project, I suggest a more streamlined approach to certain
logistical aspects. In addition, clearer and sooner communication of post-programme
responsibilities could better facilitate participant engagement in follow-up activities. Lastly,
location of the project could be better selected as there was no civilization in sight around us
leaving us without necessary supplies during cold weather and at creative activities.
Likes and dislikes:
What I liked most was the variety of workshops, which provided a comprehensive toolkit for
personal development. The entrepreneurial focus and encouragement to overcome fears
was particularly empowering. However, a more structured way of giving instructions,
wrapping up the points of the activities and more active implementation of participants'
feedback would be welcome.
In conclusion, the Get Out of your Comfort Zone project has been a transformative journey,
equipping me with valuable skills and perspectives beyond our initial comfort zones.
